16Arlington is built upon a foundation of pioneering and creative women and, since its inception, has made sure to nurture unique and inspiring female talent. Their latest endeavour, a project that inspires women by empowering women, is a homage to one of the most significant dates in the world's calendar—International Women's Day. The brand has teamed up with multidisciplinary artist and art director Suzannah Pettigrew, commissioning her to photograph a group of 12 inspiring women (all either industry friends or long-time collaborators of the label) wearing the brand's signature Seymour shirt.

The project is undoubtedly a true celebration of women, with 16Arlington carefully selecting who they wanted to be included in the campaign to convey their vision. The project features appearances from Matches Fashion's Natalie Kingham and Elizabeth von der Goltz (who are both long time friends and trusted partners of 16Arlington), confidantes from the media industry Laura Jordan & Ella Lucia (both of whom have featured in the 16Arlington muses series) stylist and mastermind of the latest AW21 16Arlington campaign Georgia Pendlebury, and friend of the brand, producer & director Lena Dunham. Alongside their portraits, 16Arlington has also asked the handpicked group of women to name an individual or several women they admire or are inspired by, reiterating female livelihoods' importance and existence in a world that can sometimes still very much feel like a man's world at the best of times.

In addition to the campaign, the brand is making an initial donation to a charity close to 16Arlington co-founders Marco Capaldo & Kikka Cavanati's hearts. Refuge - a charity that provides specialist support for women and children experiencing domestic violence - will be donated to on behalf of all 12 women captured by Pettigrew. For the duration of March, 16Arlington will also be running a limited production in a single batch of 20 of their signature Seymour shirts - which will be available to buy online via their website, with 100% of the net profit also being donated to the charity.

16Arlington have said of the women featured in the campaign, 'Our International Women's Day cast is a true representation of women who support women, leaders in their respective industries and trusted collaborators and friends of the brand.'

The Seymour shirt, £795, is available to buy now on 16Arlington.co.uk.
