Central Saint Martins and publishers Thames and Hudson are due to launch a new book documenting student work from some of the fashion world's biggest trailblazers. Entitled Fashion Central Saint Martins, it covers the fashion school's history from 1931 to today, featuring early sketches, first student collections and fashion shoots from the likes of Kim Jones, Christopher Kane, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Phoebe Philo, Gareth Pugh and Riccardo Tisci. As well as this, stylists and writers such as LOVE Magazine's Katie Grand and Vogue's Hamish Bowles feature.

Edited by Central Saint Martins' Programme Director of Fashion, Hywel Davies and Cally Blackman, Lecturer in Fashion History and Theory, the book compiles profiles for key alumni, memories from their time at fashion school, their inspirational teachers, guest essays and sage words for aspiring fashion students.

Fashion Central Saint Martins is published on 5 September 2019.
