AC Milan and Off-White Unveil Debut Collection

Carrying on the late Virgil Abloh's infamous vernacular 'I Support', OFF-WHITE's continued partnership with AC Milan have seen the brand release collaborative t-shirts supporting Fondazione Milan's refurbishing of a multi-purpose sports centre in the city's disadvantaged suburb of Gratosoglio. 'I Support Young Black Businesses' the designer said of his Stussy collaboration in 2019, and in 2023, some two years after the designer's death, the same slogan has been adapted for Milan's football club with OFF-WHITE releasing a series of limited-edition t-shirts stamped with the motto 'I SUPPORT SPORT FOR CHANGE'.

In addition to the t-shirt's release is a complementary campaign featuring Davide Calabria and Divock Origi from the AC Milan men's team as well as Laura Giuliani and Lindsey Thomas from the AC Milan women's team. All proceeds from the t-shirt's sale will go to Fondazione Milan for their Sport For Change program. Using the positive values and power of sport, the program aims to tackle education inequality and poverty, inspiring young people to grow and develop their talents and promoting integration and social inclusion in suburban areas and neighbourhoods of large cities in the process.

The joint AC Milan and Off-White project is representative of the disruptive spirit both brands possess. Realising this, their partnership aims to use the power of sport to generate positive change, a notion fashion is no stranger to, especially in the context of football culture. 'For me, football highlights the power of youth culture; it can change politics, it's very powerful', Martine Rose told SHOWstudio's Hetty Mahlich in July 2021; a statement armed with truth that continues to reverberate beyond the Martine Rose label.
