This year, C.P. Company is kicking off their 50th anniversary in style. Founded in 1971 by Massimo Osti, the iconic Italian sportswear brand's functional, military-inspired outerwear and goggle jackets are popular today with British rappers including Rejjie Snow, Slowthai and Skepta. After hosting a panel discussion with us about the emotional connection customers have with the clothes, the brand's cultural relevance, and the enduring popularity of C.P. in the north of England, the Italian brand is taking their anniversary celebrations a step further; with a special collaboration.
C.P. Company has now partnered with Gary Aspden's adidas Spezial for an exclusive capsule collection. United by a shared audience, the pair have created a two-piece capsule featuring an updated Italia SPZL silhouette and a new version of the iconic adidas Haslingden jacket. Manchester United and England footballer Luke Shaw fronts the campaign, looking dapper in a reworked adidas Haslingden jacket in a 1970s Italian camouflage print.
The adidas Spezial by C.P. Company collaborative collection arrives in limited quantities on October 14th, and is available exclusively through C.P. Company flagship stores and END. Clothing.
