Alber Elbaz Returns to Fashion With Richemont

Designer Alber Elbaz has signed an agreement to form a joint venture with the Swiss luxury conglomerate Richemont. Entitled AZfashion (AlberlbaZFashion) the new brand seeks to be 'an innovative and dynamic start-up, meant to turn dreams into reality.' As stated by Richemont.

'I am very happy to partner with Richemont and to establish my 'dream factory' which will focus on developing solutions for women of our time. I am extremely excited to collaborate with good people, talented and smart individuals, and I look forward also to having a lot of fun with this new adventure.' says Elbaz.

'Upon hearing Alber Elbaz describe his vision for fashion and the projects it inspires in him, I was again struck by his creativity and insight,' added Richemont Chairman Johann Rupert. 'His talent and inventiveness, with his sensitivity towards women and their wellbeing, will be of great value to our group and its maisons.'

Many have missed Elbaz within fashion since his swift exit from Lanvin in 2015, this news bringing great excitement.
