In an exciting new move, BERTHOLD are eschewing the conventional fashion calendar, and in turn the seasonal launch model, with a core, capsule collection. After 10 years of seasonal collections, BERTHOLD's key aesthetic and values are now encapsulated in a 14 piece collection. The classic items are all signatures in their elegant functionality but each with a unique element, be that fabrication, pattern or hardware. Drop-crotch cargo-style trousers, outerwear, shirts, a pouch and a cross-body bag all feature.

Graphic forms, bold silhouettes and utilitarian colours, are all present throughout the 14 non-gendered garments, each an emblem of the distinct design language of designer Raimund Berthold.

Known for technical fabrics, sharp silhouettes and a utilitarian palette, Berthold envisions a more sustainable fashion approach. 'We have pulled away from cyclical shows and disposable trends, shrugging off convention, opening up opportunities for collaboration and multidisciplinary thinking ... The traditional format of a catwalk show and a seasonal collection doesn’t feel right in a fast-paced, eco-conscious global world.'
