Maison Ullens have appointed the French designer Haider Ackermann as their creative consultant. In his new role, Ackermann will oversee the brand's image and collections, unveiling his first for the upcoming A/W 21 womenswear season in Paris. Despite a previous stint at Berluti, and having been tapped in the past to takeover Chanel from Karl Lagerfeld and Maison Margiela, Ackermann has largely stuck to his own womenswear and menswear lines. The appointment of the visionary designer at the Belgian ready-to-wear brand, founded in 2009, will bring more eyes to this somewhat lesser known brand than ever before.
