Following iterations in Paris, London, Shanghai, and New York, Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams is reinvented anew in the Middle East.

Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams, the blockbuster fashion exhibition charting the history of the iconic French fashion house, first opened in 2017 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Since then, it has travelled to London, Shanghai, and New York, and now, it has arrived at Doha – the futuristic capital of Qatar. Having been reinvented with haute couture ensembles from the private collection of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the new iteration of Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams is the most ambitious fashion exhibition to ever be staged in the Middle East.

Representing nearly 75 years of the Dior legacy, the exhibition features designs by Christian Dior’s many successors; namely, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and now, Maria Grazia Chiuri. The varied cultural inspirations for the house are showcased in the Dior Around the World section, which features dazzling Middle Eastern-inspired stained-glass windows by Philippe-Joseph Brocard.

Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams is on view at M72 in Msheireb Downtown Doha until March 31 2022.
