Launched by LoopStudio, Knitster LDN and Kaysha Sinclair, the Commuknitty initiative is bringing together some of London's brightest designers for an exclusive auction. Raising money for the Emergency Designer Network, the enterprise started by designers Holly Fulton, Bethany Williams and Phoebe English to make hospital garments, the first auction goes live 28 June. Across seven days, there will be seven one-off knits up for grabs, created by Stefan Cooke, Priya Ahluwalia, Daniel Fletcher, Carlota Berrera, Berthold, Paolina Russo and Kepler. With bids starting at £100, all of the profits go straight to the EDN.
