The British Fashion Council (BFC) opened up the Royal Albert Hall for the annual award ceremony, The Fashion Awards, to celebrate both established and emerging fashion talent for their significant work in 2019. Winners saw the likes of Kim Jones for Dior Men taking home the British Designer of the Year Menswear award, Adut Akech announced as Model of the Year, Rihanna's Fenty winning the Urban Luxe category, and Daniel Lee becoming the night's biggest winner with a staggering total of four prizes - including Brand of the Year - for his design creations at Bottega Veneta.

The Fashion Awards also recognised long-time contributors of the fashion industry, Sarah Burton received The Trailblazer Award for her creative direction at Alexander McQueen, Sam McKnight received the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, and Giorgio Armani was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award. SHOWstudio would like to extend congratulations to the 2019 NEW WAVE: Creatives list, with the likes of SHOWstudio contributors Jon Emmony, Eva Losada and Rob Rusling honoured at the evening!
