Two boundary-pushing digital fashion collaborations launch this week, creating new must-have pieces for life in the metaverse.

Barragan x ZERO10

ZERO10, the digital fashion platform with previous Tommy Cash and Alexandra Sipa collabs under its online belt, have joined with NYC-based streetwear brand Barragan to launch their first collaboration.

It is the first collection ZERO10 has created with a US-based designer since their launch in October 2021. The union pairs designer Victor Barragan's genderless designs with their continued mission to use AR tech to create unique fashion experiences focused on sustainability and inclusivity. To that end, the collection features both free and shoppable digital wares, and includes essential pieces from the Barragan archives like the S/S 17 Pocket Vest and a reimagined pair of the Lil Star Trousers from S/S 22.

"Wabi Venus" NFT, Piero D'Angelo x DRESSX

Meanwhile, the DRESSX platform has partnered with LVMH prize nominated designer Piero D'Angelo to create two wearable NFTs: both online and off. It is the first time DRESSX will offer a physical garment in conjunction with its usual digital designs, with the both garments made from preserved species lichens.

The Wabi Venus items unite D'Angelo's unique biotechnical approach to crafting fashion with the DRESSX ethos of producing fashion more sustainably. The pieces are inspired by the imperfections and beauty of nature, with the offline garments made to order for each client.

The digital drop is available now on Decentraland.
