Pioneers of digital fashion, DRESSX has been leading the way in virtual wearables since it was founded in 2020 by Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova. With the recent launch of the DRESSX NFT Marketplace touted as the largest Metacloset, the platform is releasing its own NFT collection. Dubbed the Genesis drop, the collection is made up of 444 generative wearable NFT bucket hats (which are quickly becoming a DRESSX signature). Utilising DRESSX's signature augmented reality (AR), each NFT will be available for owners to wear on the DRESSX app.

Not just a collectable artwork, the Genesis drop includes several utilities including a personal Metacloset on the DRESSX app. When purchasing the NFT, users will be presented with a secret box containing a unique work. Once revealed, each NFT will have a unique combination of traits. Owners of the NFT will also be given voting rights on future NFT drops, helping to shape the platform's output in innovative and engaging ways. Bridging the worlds of Web2 and Web3, holders of the NFT will also have access to real-world and digital events, including a lineup of activities planned prior to this year's Art Basel in Miami.

‘In this new Web3 space, we firmly believe in the importance of identity and how we express ourselves. In the virtual world, we become our PFPs and the ability to dress and express ourselves without IRL boundaries is crucial to fully celebrate our individual identities’ explains DRESSX founders Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova.
