After the recent boom in fashion and virtual gaming platforms collaborating, the industry has seen some of fashion's most luxury labels introduce their designs digitally to gamers everywhere. From Stefan Cooke's recent hook up with The Sims to Gucci cosying up to Xbox, the virtual world of online gaming has taken fashion by storm. Next to jump on the hype is Maison Valentino, choosing to collaborate with Drest, the world's first luxury fashion game, which will showcase the Italian house's newest collection in all its festive glory, The Party.

Drest x Valentino

Revealed on 1 December, Drest launched an exclusive Valentino photoshoot where players on the app were invited to style one of the game's model avatars. Drest, founded by fashion editor Lucy Yeomans, offers regular challenges for users to complete to engage players and consumers alike, helping them explore luxury fashion and adopt it into their own style without spending a penny. Strengthening, and often establishing, new relationships between brands and users nurtures a unique online fashion community. Drest's latest collaboration with Valentino centres around exactly that, enabling users to immerse themselves in the world of Valentino fully.

Made up of multiple challenges and games to play, the collaboration will also see players invited to create a mood board for a challenge named 'Holiday Season', where the aim is to put together a festive look that must feature Valentino's iconic Valentino Garavani Roman Stud handbag to complete the outfit. All of Valentino's The Party Collection pieces will be available to purchase virtually and in real life, but if you want to compete in Valentino's challenge, time is of the essence as they will only be live in Drest's home feed for seven days. Players will also be rewarded for their unique styling choices with virtual Valentino gift boxes, making it a merry time for all.

To play, you can download Drest from the App Store today.
