The largest-ever exhibition devoted to menswear staged in the UK, Invisible Men: An Anthology from the Westminster Menswear Archive, closes this Sunday 24 November. Held at Westminster University’s Ambika P3 space, the groundbreaking show has broken attendance records for Ambika P3 and critics have called it a 'triumph', 'truly ground-breaking', 'superbly curated with some amazing objects'.

Drawn exclusively from the Westminster Menswear Archive, Invisible Men explores the story of British menswear over the last 120 years, displaying 67 garments from over 50 different designers. It also features a collection of previously unseen examples of Alexander McQueen's early menswear.

Curated by Professor Andrew Groves and dress historian Dr Danielle Sprecher, the show has a focus on menswear's connection to military, utilitarian, and functional garments. Contemporary designers featured include Craig Green, the current menswear Designer of the Year, and Samuel Ross, whose label A-COLD-WALL* won the BFC/GQ Designer Menswear Fund award in June.

Whilst menswear remains largely under-represented in institutions’ fashion collections and exhibits around the world, Invisible Men is making one big leap for change!

Catch the show before it closes on 24 November, admission is free to the public.
