Gentle Monster x Coperni Hack the Mainframe with New Collab

A new collaboration between sunglasses innovator Gentle Monster and Parisian brand Coperni is pushing the boundaries of digital wearables. Inspired by sci-fi cinema like The Matrix and Back to the Future and real-life tech, they have created two new styles of futuristic shades. Fans can of course purchase the 5G and 5G BOLD offline, and with an AR filter available on Instagram and TikTok, they can also try them out online.

The collection is far from Gentle Monster's first foray into fashion technology, see their filter-friendly Redefinition of Eyewear project in 2020 or last year's metaverse project Gentle Monster in Zepeto. Safe to say they are leading the guard in terms of hybrid online/offline accessories design. One could say their future is so bright...you know the rest.
