Glenn Martens' Showstopper Diesel Collection Gets Metaverse-Ready

Last year, Diesel launched their first NFT (non-fungible token), immortalising the 'Prototype' sneaker by creative director Glenn Martens as a digital asset with the marketplace Neuno and digital fashion house The Fabricant. Now, hot on the heels of the A/W 22 runway show in Milan, which was brilliantly bonkers and featured giant-sized blow-up dolls decked in Diesel denim, the brand are launching a dedicated NFT collection which will exist in the realms of both the virtual and the real.

The D:VERSE NFT collection is set to include showpieces from the runway show; denim belt skirts, laminated jeans, trompe l'oeil tops and upcycled, artisanal jackets are top of our wishlist. Digital assets will be accompanied by a limited-run of physical clothing, sneakers and accessories.
