On Monday, despite no official confirmation from either Reebok or Margiela, Kim Kardashian gave her fans a sneak peek of the yet-to-be-released collaborative trainer.

Unveiled on Kim Kardashian's Instagram on Monday, it looks like Margiela and Reebok have teamed up again, creating a new split-toe trainer. Comprised of Reebok's classic leather shoe and the distinct Margiela Tabi, the trainer features both brands' signatures on the leather upper tongue coupled with Margiela's trademark split-toe.

The collaborative trainer comes a year after both brands collaborated for the first time, their debut being launched during Paris Fashion Week Couture last year. In September the memorable Margiela x Reebok Instapump Fury was released, coming in six different colourways - taking the best design elements from each shoe, paired with a chunky tri-tone outsole.

Detailed information about the style has not yet been released, but what Kim Kardashian's tease on her Instagram story has confirmed is that the shoe is available in a light dusty grey colour paired with dark grey laces.

Reebok's classic leather running shoe, reminiscent of the typical 80s sneaker, was released in 1983 as a multi-purpose shoe and is now considered more of a fashion statement than a sports shoe. As for Margiela's Tabis (available in boots, sling-backs, loafers, sneakers and ballerina flats) the brand's former creative director Martin Margiela designed the unique toe-split shoe in the latter part of the 80s as part of the house's Spring/Summer 89 collection - a nod to the traditional Japanese split-toe sock.

That's all we know for now, but keep your eyes peeled on SHOWstudio for release information.
