Loewe team up with respected British artist Anthea Hamilton for a new exhibition at M HKA, Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp.

Opening on 17 February 2022, the exhibition Mash Up marks Hamilton's first major survey of works, which will feature at the M HKA, Museum of Contemporary Arts in Europe's avant-garde gound fashion capital Antwerp.

Curated by Anne-Claire Schmitz, the key to knowing more about the exhibition is all in the name, chosen to reflect Hamilton's collaged way of working, or simply, a 'mash up' of styles, genres and aesthetics. Mash Up seeks to consolidate Hamilton's artistic language and further establish the artist's voice in contemporary culture as the exhibition invites us to think about the knowledge of forms and images; raising relevant questions on representation, identity politics, and methodologies of freedom.

This isn't the first time Loewe have worked to support the work of Hamilton, in fact, they partnered with the British artist to create looks for her 2018 ongoing Tate Britain performance Squash in which she performed in front of visiting members of the public in collaboratively designed Loewe looks.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 17 February.
