Moncler and Valextra invite two unique designers to create limited-edition collections.

Moncler Genius, a collaborative project run by the luxury Italian brand, announces a world tour. Comprising a series of pop-up events across different cities worldwide, the project calls upon individual designers to create limited-edition collections, riffing on Moncler's heritage. Collaborating with luxury leather goods brand Valextra, Moncler and the resident designers – Sergio Zambon and Veronica Leoni – enhance Moncler classics with their twist.

Zambon, who is responsible for the Moncler 1952 line, uses muted tones and relaxed silhouettes, maintaining the technical features associated with the brand. Leoni – an alumna of Jil Sander – takes a layered approach, offering bouclé wools, fishnets, padded tailoring and bleached tartans. She tops the biker-style looks off with patches by Itchy Scratchy Patchy, a London-based brand.

The collections launch on 29 August 2019 in Moncler boutiques and on the Moncler website.
