Northern Europe’s Largest Fashion Fair Is Expanding
Unless you’ve been living under a rock the last decade, you should be well aware that Copenhagen has risen the ranks as a real powerhouse in fashion - thanks in no small part to organisations like Revolver and CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair) who have provided a platform for the region’s creatives while establishing a global network of buyers and press. Earlier this year, the latter acquired the former in a move to streamline operations of Copenhagen’s largest fashion fair.
As the longest running international fashion fair of Northern Europe, CIFF has spent the last three decades championing local talent. The biannual fair has been a key player in spreading Scandinavian aesthetics worldwide along with sustainable practices as one of the only trade fairs to sign Business of Fashion's #rewiring initiative that encourages cities to adopt more ecoconcious practices like combining men's and women's fashion weeks.
From 9 to 11 August, CIFF and Revolver will present their very first unified show featuring a curation of over 800 brands across menswear, womenswear, lifestyle and beauty. More than just a space for buyers, the event will also host a myriad of events, including talks from industry experts.
‘Together we can bring the very best of Danish, Scandinavian, and International fashion to the forefront,’ explains CIFF director Sofie Dolva, ‘creating a more cohesive and valuable fair experience for brands and buyers alike.'
Registration for CIFF x Revolver opens May 9th at www.ciff.dk.
