Self-Dye-Solation: BLEACH London launches 'Hair Parties' series.
With office regulations out the window, let your wildest colour dreams come true. New hair, new you as they say, and there was never a better time for it than now. Memories from dodgy DIY jobs? Step in BLEACH London. Forced to close their London salons under the cloud of COVID-19, creative director Alex Brownsell has announced BLEACH London's Hair Parties series to get us through lockdown. The first hair salon to launch with a sole focus on experimental colour in 2010, their Instagram account is proof enough of the colour transformations they are capable of, having also launched a hugely successful range of vegan and cruelty free products for home use. With them on your side, you can be sure to avoid the hair-dye horror stories we all know too well.
Re-configuring their business model to dye from home, Hair Parties will offer the world's first live and interactive hair tutorials, bringing a digital salon experience to the comfort of your own bathroom. Launching this weekend with some celebrity specials from the likes of Georgia May Jagger, Pixie Geldof, Meshach Henry and Nick Grimshaw, there are plans for regular events to follow. 16 different product bundles are available via bleachlondon.com following a brief online hair consultation, giving access to different Hair Parties in secret locations at yet undisclosed times, where expert BLEACH colourists will be offering advice every step of the way.
'Who knows what masterpieces will surface from at-home colouring, particularly those trying it for the first time?' says Brownsell. There's free shipping all week, but it's first come first served, so we'd advise getting to it if you want your name on the ultimate self-isolation guest list.
The salon are also donating a portion of the proceeds to NHS affiliated charities.
