Buckle up because for the next few days, SHOWstudio will be throwing you in the deep end of Seoul Fashion Week. The hotly anticipated roster of shows offers up some of the most exciting new collections straight out of Korea. We’ll be sharing established brands alongside ‘Generation Next’: the brands with five or less years experience, making their debut on a global stage.
Opening their digital doors on Monday with a performance from the band LEENALCHI, SFW is in full swing; highlights from the full first day of shows include womenswear brands LIE and iCE GARDEN, who staged fashion films, and menswear brand DWSCompany, who staged a runway show in one of the five different locations this edition of Seoul Fashion Week is taking place across, moving away from its previous home at the Zaha Hadid-designed Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Expect to glimpse the National Museum of Korea, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), the Seonyudo Park and the Oil Tank Culture Park.
Stay tuned for the closing ceremony on Saturday, where none other than renowned DJ Peggy Gou will be ending things on a bang.
