Kenzo Takada

The legacy of Kenzo Takada, founder of the namesake brand which was recently taken over by Bape's Nigo, will be explored in Decentraland's Fashion Street Estate from Saturday 21 May at 11:59pm (UTC) to Sunday 22 May at 11:59pm (UTC). Having released a limited NFT collection of Nigo's take on the Kenzo flower, Kenzo will now take up virtual space in a building conceptualised by Decentraland, Lumière, and Holdex. The unique digital experience celebrating Kenzo Takada in painterly forms helps understand Kenzo’s passion for fashion and art. This metaverse exhibition also features his self-portrait using an AI intervention. Not to be missed.

Wonder in Decentraland

Lola Okiyuga, the culture company Wonder’s founder, believes in powerful intersections. By pairing her company to the Metaverse and Web 3.0, barriers to access and resources will become democratised much quicker than the digital world. Check out her ‘decentralised’ manifesto.

'With low barriers to entry and ready availability of resource and access points, the degree to which the crafting of its environment has been democratized is not perfect, but has gone further, faster to create a more level playing field than spaces in our physical world.' - Lola Okuyiga
