The bad news this week is that Boris Johnson has announced an extended lockdown period of four weeks to wait until national freedom day. The good news is that Kiko Kostadinov is still offering their stylistic expertise on the already-fashionable Asics trainers.
16 June sees the debut of the FB1-S Gel-Preleus; a multi-layered mesh and leather trainer that comes in two colourways; Metropolis and Carrier Grey and a Pink Rave/Olive Canvas. Said to be directly inspired by 'cloud-like free-flowing movement', the distinctive style has been designed by Kiko Kostadinov talents, sisters Laura and Deanna Fanning, to diversify their women's range.
Speaking of the unmistakable trainer style, the design duo commented, 'The inferred speed from the dynamic curved line in side profile and tooling inspired us to facilitate the development of this archive style for women. The [GELTM] Preleus offers depth and height in the arch of the heel that was a great contrast in consideration of the diversity of ASICS Styles for women.'
The FB1-S Gel-Preleus is available to buy online and worldwide in all Asics stores for an affordable $110.
