Surrealism is having a moment. Tate Modern is currently staging a blockbuster show on Women and Surrealism in art, and Daniel Roseberry's Schiaparelli, complete with gold cast human heads refashioned as bags, is all the rage. A new exhibition, ode to MEATYARD, opens this weekend, and pays homage to the surreal workings of fashion, art and film.

Judy Blame's SHOWstudio Tumblr Takeover, 2012

Featuring work inspired by the original connoisseur of the bizarre, Salvador Dali, to Judy Blame, Diane Arbus, The Contemporary Wardrobe Collection and Leigh Bowery, plus SHOWstudio contributors Cyana Madsen and Marketa Uhlirova, we suggest getting yourself over to The Horse Hospital arts space in Bloomsbury pronto.

Schiaparelli A/W 21

ode to MEATYARD runs from Saturday 2 April, 12:00 GMT - Saturday 30 April, 12:00 GMT.
