Zegna Unveils New Triple Stitch Sneaker
Italian luxury fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna has released a new line of Triple Stitch sneakers in shades of beige, dark vicuna and red leather. The shoe is a hybrid of modernity and heritage, with a slip-on sole, yet also recalling the three hand-stitches on a suit lapel.
As artistic director of Zegna, Italian designer Alessandro Sartori has continued to echo the house's principles of sustainability. Marking the house's 110th anniversary in August, Sartori highlighted Zegna's environmentalist legacy. Beginning in the 1930s, Ermenegildo Zegna planted more than 500,000 trees in an epic reforestation project in the hills surrounding the Zegna wool mill, completely transforming the local landscape of Trivero into a nature reserve today known as OASI Zegna.
