Neelam Gill by Jacquetta Crook

“There are many reasons I chose this image [by Liz Collins] as it makes me feel empowered. Shooting the cover for Elle UK was one of my career highlights this year, and I feel my pose & demeanour reflects the positive energy surrounding that moment — in turn, making me feel empowered because I come from a working class background in Coventry and I don’t take any moments like this for granted, especially since I grew up with my Mum buying that magazine!”
