Wellness and fitness expert Joe Holder shows the ability of breathing to connect with ourselves.

  • What is your name and how would you describe what you do?

Joe Holder: Joe Holder. I am an entrepreneur, speaker, writer, and creative consultant who looks to make wellness more accessible for individuals.

  • What's your background?

JH: Premature kid born in Livingston, Montana. Grew up in South Orange, New Jersey. Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Generally passionate.

  • What inspires you?

JH: Sometimes I want to give up, other times I think if I was born at any other time in modern history (prior to now), I would not have the chances I currently have today. So that inspires me. Opportunity and other creative minds that are doing something with that.

  • What is the ambition behind your practice?

JH: The ability to make a difference, perhaps that others believe in me to do the same.

  • What did you hope to convey with your Bodies Of Knowledge film?

JH: The constant of ourselves when everything tries to pull us out of it. Our breathing is the through line that we have through the day and I want to be able to make that clear, the ability of breathing to connect with ourselves.
