  • What is your name and how would you describe what you do?

POiSON ANNA: I'm POiSON ANNA and I highlight the ruptured truths of modern day society through sounds, movement and realism. I am an advocate of truth and sit deeply in my spiritual purpose. My mission is to help people connect and understand their purpose, away from societies pressures.

  • What's your background?

PA: I am Czech-Ghanian with influences from all over the world. I am everything and all.

  • What inspires you?

PA: I am inspired truly by nature. I love to be part of different elements and be at one with the universe, this is where I feel most nurtured and understood

  • What is the ambition behind your practice?

PA: I like to feel connected and want people to feel connected to themselves; their deeper self and their higher self. I am just here to show how vital it is to feel whole.

  • What did you hope to convey with your Bodies Of Knowledge film?

PA: The intention set for me being part of this incredible project was to find the deeper self within surroundings, that are new and scared. Places that have seen and felt so many emotions and history through thousands of years. I wanted to show how important it is to be held in the right environment and to open a passage to deeply connect and show what that is like for me. The body is our dome and we must feel freedom in it. I asked myself who I am if I cannot play my instruments, who am I without being able to write my lyrics. I had to delve deep into honouring how important that is for my growth and to channel that power to the world.
