Audio: The Love and Trust Collective 2
The second of two versions of 'Prayer to Saint Thérèse', created by Paolo Di Nola and Mac Folkes of Berlin-based The Love And Trust Collective. ‘When we were asked to interpret the words of Chloë Sevigny, the fist thing that came to our minds was the Bernini sculpture ‘Ecstasy of Saint Teresa’. Ecstasy and the dance floor have a long symbiotic relationship, so we decided to go with that mood and use it as our inspiration. Our hope was to give the sensation of Teresa and an angel mystically floating on a cloud. Additionally, since it was a fashion collaboration, we thought it was apropos to give the kids something that they could Vogue to. Hopefully we succeeded at one or the other, and preferably both.’
