Fashion Film: Search & Destroy

by Jez Tozer and Maria Araujo on 23 September 2013

Fashion photographer Jez Tozer and art director Maria Araujo collaborated on a new Punk film. Inspired by Iggy Pop’s track 'Search & Destroy', the film also shares its title with one of the most important punk zines from the early seventies in the states, explains Tozer.

The duo created the entire set from bin bags, celebrating the lo-fi DIY culture of punk and nodding to to the reactionary birth of punk in the chaos in the UK when the streets were littered with bags of rubbish during the garbage strikes of the seventies.
