Sittings: Thirty Men

Launched on 01 April 2005

Over April 2005, Simon Foxton styled 30 male models as 'living magazine pages' - a different man each day in an Autumn/Winter 2005 outfit by a different fashion designer. Each model was groomed, carefully composed as a magazine shot and seated in front of a webcam for four hours. In a nod to the pseudo-erotic dynamics of live web streaming, a curious public watching via the Internet could call up the models and ask questions.

The first ever global, live-streamed fashion shoot, in which nine top models were styled, made-up and put to bed at The Metropolitan Hotel.

Invited by Arena Homme Plus to shoot John Galliano’s outlandish A/W 07 mens collection, Nick Knight and Simon Foxton staged an explosive action shoot.
