Fashion Film: Matthew Williamson

by Lou Stoppard, Neal Bryant and Jon Emmony on 5 November 2013

A remix of sounds recorded in Matthew Williamson's studio during the run-up to his Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Captured noises include fabric being dyed in water, beads and gems rustling, jersey being ripped, material being cut and sewing machines in use. Some sounds appear exactly as they were recorded, others have been distorted. The song is supported by 3D animated visuals that take colours directly from the runway looks and break down the collection into abstract elements. Listen with headphones for the best experience.
