Anthony Vaccarello

Anthony Vaccarello is a Belgian fashion designer, who from a young age has been interested in creating fashion for strong women. Studying fashion in Brussels' La Cambre school, Vaccarello showed his graduate collection at the Hyères fashion festival where it won the Grand Prix. Vaccarello went on to design furs under Karl Lagerfeld at Fendi.

He launched his eponymous label in 2008 with a presentation of ornate dresses in the windows of Paris' Maria Luisa store during Haute Couture week. In 2014, the designer created a capsule collection for Versus Versace, being named creative director there in January 2015. The following year, Vaccarello announced his departure from Versace, and was appointed creative director at Saint Laurent, a successor to their previous creative director, Hedi Slimane. Vaccarello presented his first collection for Saint Laurent in October 2016, for the S/S 17 season.
