  • Technical Supervisor

    SHOWstudio has a rare and exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as Technical Supervisor. Working with Nick Knight and a team of dedicated and passionate individuals, the position is pivotal to the creation and execution of SHOWstudio’s diverse and pioneering content. 
     
    The Technical Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the smooth running of SHOWstudio's technical facilities – including internet, phone, intranet and mail servers – as well as ensuring the smooth running of projects - including live streams, audio and video work.
     
    Responsibilities include:
    • Live streaming - setting up and overseeing various SHOWstudio live streams, including interviews, shoots, panel discussions etc. This involves maintaining streaming equipment, set-up of multiple camera shoots, monitoring audio and supervising video feeds to deliver a high quality stream
    • Audio recording - overseeing and managing all in-house audio recordings including interviews and on-location shoots
    • Camera equipment - organising and setting up of cameras for SHOWstudio recordings
    • Office equipment - maintaining the smooth running of the studio including the maintenance of computers, the office network and general office hardware and software
    • Website management - helping with managing content on the website. Using the custom CMS you will be required to help with the preparation and uploading of site assets and assisting the team with general site use
    • Video preparation - preparing videos for the site and YouTube, including dropping in title cards, compressions and working with the editing team to ensure quality is kept to a high level
    • Technical input on all SHOWstudio projects - this will include equipment budgets and careful planning to ensure projects run as efficiently as possible
    • Project realization – suggesting and implementing relevant technical solutions to ensure delivery of various SHOWstudio projects such as various video/ audio delivery systems i.e. soundcloud imbeds/ media players 
    The Technical Supervisor should also:
    • Have an interest in fashion, art and music
    • Be keen to work across a broad range of technical tasks, and proactive in learning new technical skills
    • Be happy taking responsibility for deliverables, including what will sometimes be sole responsibility for a particular task
    • Have an appreciation of what SHOWstudio does, and be keen to offer creative input on its activities going forward
    • Build and maintain a network of contributors to be utilised on various projects 
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of software and hardware advancements in order to ensure the technical aspects of SHOWstudio are up to date and running optimally
    • Able to work well and remain calm under pressure 
    • Strong communication with all levels and with high profile individuals

    Salary: Based on experience

  • Gallery Intern

    Assisting our Associate Gallery Director Niamh White, and Director Carrie Scott, this role will suit a student or graduate from an art related degree who has a strong interest to work in the gallery field. This role requires strong organisational, communication and administration skills.

    Interns are responsible for administrative support, research and some writing as well as helping to set up exhibitions, answering phones, looking after visitors and a wide range of 'running' tasks one would expect in any busy gallery.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).

  • E-commerce Manager: SHOWstudio Shop

    SHOWstudio is looking for an experienced e-commerce manager to manage the SHOWstudio Shop and maximise revenue opportunities. The e-commerce manager is in charge of developing innovative marketing strategies, through social media and email marketing platforms, in order to increase customer loyalty and ROI.

    The successful candidate will have significant experience in e-commerce in a retail environment, ideally premium/luxury, and have in-depth understanding of working with an e-commerce platform.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Managing, monitoring and updating SHOWstudio’s e-commerce platform
    • Processing all aspects of customer services including but not limited to orders, returns, refunds
    • Managing inventory, merchandising, product creation, content etc.
    • Writing all text for products in keeping with the style guide
    • Updating all social media platforms
    • Liaising with wholesale suppliers
    • Creating marketing strategy
    • Generating regular email newsletters
    • Preparing weekly sales reports for in-house team
    • Organising and overseeing photo shoots for products, as well as booking models for shoots
    • Generating all invoices and liaising with the accountant on all major transactions
    • Sourcing new and relevant product for SHOWstudio Shop – including clothes, illustrations, books and jewellery
    • Looking at customer journey and site abandonment, improving customer experience
    • Drafting press releases, liaising with PRs, and generating press coverage
    • Working with merchandising teams to ensuring all product offering is up to date
    • Analysing trade performance and producing reports translating insight and analytics into maximising sales
    • Working closely with the editorial team to make product relevant against latest projects
    • Utilising google analytics to track successful campaigns, monitor clicks and ROI of projects and individual products
    • Using Mail Chimp and SHOWstudio newsletter to target specific customer bases eg. Streetwear/ Illustration
    • Communicating with clients who come into the gallery 

    Desired skills and experience:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in e-commerce
    • Working knowledge of content management systems and processes
    • Good level of experience using social media
    • Must be confident with Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Word

  • Production Intern

    Assisting our Production Manager Lauren Juska, this internship will suit a student or recent graduate who has a strong interest in production and a passion for the fashion and creative industries. 

    The internship will provide excellent hands on experience working within an active studio and online publisher. Working closely with all members of the team the production intern would experience live studio and broadcast production, event coordination, delivery of film series and fashion collection coverage as well as publishing timeline management.

    The internship is ideally suited to individuals with excellent organisational abilities, strong communication and administrative skills and ability to use common sense and logic to overcome obstacles and reach solutions. An interest in production is essential.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).

  • Design Intern

    Working closely with SHOWstudio production staff, the design intern will be involved in designing and creating assets for our web site, email newsletters, films and the occasional print project.  This role best suits an enthusiastic student or graduate from a creative graphics or photography-related degree. 

    We require applicants to possess a strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and the Mac OSX platform.  Knowledge of Adobe InDesign for print projects, social media and light HTML skills desirable.

    Good communication skills and the ability to work independently on a variety of tasks are also essential.   The work at the studio can be varied and requires a flexible person.

    As well as general 'running' tasks expected in any busy design studio, interns often have the unique opportunity to participate behind-the-scenes at photo shoots and live performances with some of the world’s leading fashion and music creatives.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 12 weeks, although part-time positions will be considered.  SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).

  • Editing Intern

    Assisting our Fashion Film team this role will suit a student or graduate from a film making / photography degree who has a strong interest in film editing. This role requires strong editing skills and technical ability.

    Interns are responsible for film editing support including editing footage for SHOWstudio projects, syncing video and audio, sourcing video footage and creating basic grades amongst a wide range of 'running' tasks one would expect in any busy studio.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).
