  • Design Intern

    Working closely with SHOWstudio Art and Technical departments, the design intern will be exposed to and involved in designing and creating assets for our web site, email newsletters, films and the occasional print project. This role best suits an enthusiastic student or graduate from a creative graphics or photography-related degree with an interest in fashion.

    In order to get the best out of the internship we require applicants to possess a strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Experience working with a CMS (Content Management System) is beneficial. Basic video editing skills and basic Adobe AfterEffects skills would be preferred. Other skills that would be advantageous are an understanding of HTML and an interest in 3D/interactive design.

    Good communication skills and the ability to work independently on a variety of tasks are also very beneficial. The work at the studio can be varied and so the learning environment is particularly suited to an individual possessing strong organisational skills, ability to work in very fast paced a fast-paced and time-pressured environment with excellent attention to detail.

    As well as general 'running' tasks expected in any busy design studio, interns often have the unique opportunity to participate behind-the-scenes at photo shoots and live performances with some of the world’s leading fashion and music creative’s.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 12 weeks. SHOWstudio will contribute to lunch and travel expenses.

  • Studio Intern

    Assisting the SHOWstudio team, this internship will suit a student or recent graduate who has a strong interest in production and is looking for a runner position within the fashion and creative industries. 

    The internship will provide excellent hands on experience working within an active studio and online publisher. Working closely with all members of the team the studio intern would experience live studio and broadcast production, event coordination, delivery of film series and fashion collection coverage as well as publishing timeline management.

    The internship is ideally suited to individuals with excellent organisational abilities, strong communication and administrative skills and ability to use common sense and logic to overcome obstacles and reach solutions. An interest in production is essential.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).

  • E-Commerce Manager

    An exciting opportunity for a bright, hard-working individual to head the e-commerce for SHOWstudio / MACHINE-A, Nick Knight's award-winning fashion website in collaboration with the most exciting London fashion boutique. 

    Working with both of the SHOWstudio / MACHINE-A teams, this role is pivotal in ensuring the continuous growth of the e-commerce business. 

     

    The successful applicant will be responsible for the following areas:

    • Develop and implement e-commerce strategy in order to improve website performance.
    • Act to improve and analyze acquisition, retention and customer experience efforts through on-site & channel optimization.
    • Planning, production and management of photoshoot days.
    • Manage and assist with product launches, including management of digital assets, product setup, and merchandising strategy.
    • Manage and upload all site content.
    • Routinely audit site content to ensure accuracy and high standard across product pages, collections, and landing experiences.
    • Work closely with MACHINE-A's in store and buying teams, on customer profiling, strategy, buying planning and intelligence sharing.
    • Collaborate with SHOWstudio on promotion, production of creative content and special projects.
    • Digital marketing planning, optimization and execution, including Email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media marketing.
    • Manage presence on third-party marketplaces.
    • Research best practices across the digital landscape from competitors and emerging brands.
    • Manage website development to improve UX / UI and introduce new features, and perform quality assurance for any new site features or functionality.
    • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting on online sales, marketing performance, and KPIs.
    • Work with an accountant to ensure all financial paperwork is in order.
    • Help build an organized (and creative!) office environment.
    • Roll up your sleeves and help fill in gaps when needed.

     

    The Ideal Candidate

    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
    • High attention to detail
    • Strong visual aesthetic
    • Excellent understanding of e-commerce, web design and web analytics
    • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, Paid Social & Affiliate marketing channels
    • Proven experience in development of a strategy, operational action plan and an e-commerce budget.
    • Strong analytical skills

    Assisting our Fashion Film team this role will suit a student or graduate from a filmmaking/photography degree who has a strong interest in film editing. This role requires strong editing, camera operation skills and technical ability.

    Interns are responsible for film editing support including editing footage for SHOWstudio projects, syncing video and audio, sourcing video footage and creating basic grades amongst a wide range of 'running' tasks one would expect in any busy studio.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part-time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).

    Assisting our editorial department, this role will suit a student or graduate from a fashion journalism or similar degree who has a strong interest in writing. This role requires strong organisational, communication and administration skills and an excellent command of the written word.

    Interns are responsible for administrative support, research and some writing as well as answering phones, looking after visitors and a wide range of 'running' tasks one would expect in any busy studio.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part-time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London). 

    This position requires an individual who is available to start as soon as possible!
