    Assisting our Fashion Editor Lou Stoppard, this role will suit a student or graduate from a fashion journalism or similar degree who has a strong interest in writing. This role requires strong organisational, communication and administration skills and an excellent command of the written word.

    Interns are responsible for administrative support, research and some writing as well as answering phones, looking after visitors and a wide range of 'running' tasks one would expect in any busy studio.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).

  • Press Intern

    Working closely with SHOWstudio Production Manager and the SHOWstudio Shop team, this internship would suit a student or graduate with a keen interest in fashion marketing or PR. This role requires strong organisational, communication and administration skills.

    The Press Intern is responsible for the collection and archiving of press coverage for SHOWstudio.com and SHOWstudio Shop's various projects and products, as well as being an in-house port of call for press and media requests. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and archiving experience are desired.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).

  • Design Intern

    Working closely with SHOWstudio production staff, the design intern will be involved in designing and creating assets for our brand new website, email newsletters, films and the occasional print project.  This role best suits an enthusiastic student or graduate from a creative graphics or photography-related degree. 

    In addition to creating assets for the studio, the design intern will also spend part of their time whipping our social streams, such as Twitter and Facebook, into shape and exploring new ways to leverage their potential. 

    We require applicants to possess a strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and the Mac OSX platform.  Knowledge of Adobe InDesign for print projects, social media marketing and light HTML skills desirable.

    Good communication skills and the ability to work independently on a variety of tasks are also essential.   The work at the studio can be varied and requires a flexible person.

    As well as general 'running' tasks expected in any busy design studio, interns often have the unique opportunity to participate behind-the-scenes at photo shoots and live performances with some of the world’s leading fashion and music creatives.

    Interns are responsible for film editing support including editing footage for SHOWstudio projects, syncing video and audio, sourcing video footage and creating basic grades amongst a wide range of 'running' tasks one would expect in any busy studio.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).

  • eCommerce and Front of House Manager

    Role Description

    The Front of House and Online Product Manager is responsible for creating a seamless and compelling customer experience across SHOWstudio.com, as well as communicating that experience within the SHOWstudio headquarters.&nbsp

    As Online Product Manager you will be responsible for generating all online revenue and successfully increasing awareness, customer acquisition and customer satisfaction, through innovative sales initiatives.

    The Online Product Manager will be responsible for:

    • Define, develop and source global product that is in line with SHOWstudio’s editorial schedule and that will appeal to the SHOWstudio audience
    • Monitor, update and oversee the SHOWstudio Shop website so that it is always current
    • Refine, optimise and customise the user experience for customer acquisition, conversion and retention
    • Optimise and oversee all SHOWstudio social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr
    • Drive new initiatives across the eCommerce platforms
    • Identify, initiate and nurture strategic marketing opportunities, partnerships and alliances with a view to acquiring new customers, as well as solidifying brand positioning. This would include corporate and brand partnerships as well as magazine and new media integrated partnerships
    • Continually analyze online statistics in order to target our audience and meet business goals and further drive both profitability and customer loyalty
    • Work closely with editorial team to ensure that all produce is in line with online activity
    • Monitor and report competitor activity and relevant industry trends, events and opportunities to the SHOWstudio team
    • Proactively build the reputation of SHOWstudio with target audiences
    • Manage and maintain correspondence with vendors/accounts
    • Achieve margin and sell thru targets
    • Negotiate deliveries to ensure consistent and early flow goods/merchandise to maximise sales and meet plan
    • Maintain and develop excellent vendor relationships
    • Maintain payment terms and shipping details records

    Office Management

    • General office and facilities maintenance
    • Ensure day-to-day appearance and running of the studios
    • Monitor all phones and man reception area
    • Maintain supplies of stationary and equipment
    • Maintain accounts with contracted companies
    • Maintain the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs
    • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints
    • Review and update health and safety policies, ensure they are observed
    • Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices

    Goals

    • Show annual gross profit margin in excess of £54,000
    • Secure minimum of 33% margin on all products sold
    • Achieve annual growth of 25%
    • Provide quarterly reports to management to show progress and growth
