  • E-commerce Manager: SHOWstudio Shop

    SHOWstudio is looking for an experienced e-commerce manager to manage the SHOWstudio Shop and maximise revenue opportunities. The e-commerce manager is in charge of developing innovative marketing strategies, through social media and email marketing platforms, in order to increase customer loyalty and ROI.

    The successful candidate will have significant experience in e-commerce in a retail environment, ideally premium/luxury, and have in-depth understanding of working with an e-commerce platform.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Managing, monitoring and updating SHOWstudio’s e-commerce platform
    • Processing all aspects of customer services including but not limited to orders, returns, refunds
    • Managing inventory, merchandising, product creation, content etc.
    • Writing all text for products in keeping with the style guide
    • Updating all social media platforms
    • Liaising with wholesale suppliers
    • Creating marketing strategy
    • Generating regular email newsletters
    • Preparing weekly sales reports for in-house team
    • Organising and overseeing photo shoots for products, as well as booking models for shoots
    • Generating all invoices and liaising with the accountant on all major transactions
    • Sourcing new and relevant product for SHOWstudio Shop – including clothes, illustrations, books and jewellery
    • Looking at customer journey and site abandonment, improving customer experience
    • Drafting press releases, liaising with PRs, and generating press coverage
    • Working with merchandising teams to ensuring all product offering is up to date
    • Analysing trade performance and producing reports translating insight and analytics into maximising sales
    • Working closely with the editorial team to make product relevant against latest projects
    • Utilising google analytics to track successful campaigns, monitor clicks and ROI of projects and individual products
    • Using Mail Chimp and SHOWstudio newsletter to target specific customer bases eg. Streetwear/ Illustration
    • Communicating with clients who come into the gallery 

    Desired skills and experience:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in e-commerce
    • Working knowledge of content management systems and processes
    • Good level of experience using social media
    • Must be confident with Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Word

    An exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate junior designer to join the small and dedicated team at SHOWstudio, the award-winning fashion website founded by Nick Knight. Based in central London, the team consists of talented and dedicated individuals who strive to bring cutting edge fashion, art and technology to the web.

    As a design assistant you will work alongside the digital art director and SHOWstudio founder Nick Knight to ensure the highest standard of visuals for the site and various SHOWstudio projects. A key team member you will work across all facets of SHOWstudio including the e-commerce, art, editorial and film departments. You will be dedicated to ensuring the very best standard of imagery regardless of the project and will be passionate about innovation and advancing techniques and technologies.

    Roles and responsibilities include:

    • Preparing all visuals for the site and various SHOWstudio projects
    • Preparing visuals for the weekly newsletter
    • Image research
    • Retouching
    • Preparing assets for use on the site and social media
    • Managing the image approval process in keeping with the publishing schedule 
    • Working with the digital art director to develop and deliver various projects

    Essential skills and experience:

    • Graduate with a relevant degree
    • Excellent, high end knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud package and be comfortable managing workflow between these applications
    • An impeccable eye for detail and finish
    • Comfortable researching imagery for projects, pulling references from different media areas
    • Well organised and excellent at managing schedules and timings
    • Self motivated with the ability to work and learn independently
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different team members through all of the departments at SHOWstudio
    • Experience at producing print work, posters, postcards and invitations
    • A passion for the arts and fashion
    • Up to date knowledge of technological advancements relating to image making

    Advanced skills and experience:

    • Experience with 3D software (ideally Cinema4D) would be an advantage
    • Photography/ film experience
    • 1-2 years experience working within a similarly fast paced and creative environment

    Working closely with the Production Manager, the position provides essential support to a high performing team, to ensure the smooth running of a busy studio and online publisher. Delivering against the daily publishing schedule and across a wide scope of projects, the position calls for a meticulous individual, with excellent organisational skills. Working with all members within the team, as well as high-profile contributors and press means strong communication skills are a must, as is the ability to cope well under pressure and deliver against tight deadlines. The position calls for an individual who is highly self-motivated and adaptable, with a 'can-do' attitude, ideally a graduate or junior level worker who is passionate about the creative industries and looking to develop a career within production.

    Roles and responsibilities include: 

    • management of the studio including facilities and supplies 
    • production and project management of film series, live broadcasts and various projects linked to SHOWstudio with the Production Manager
    • management and delivery of the online publishing schedule
    • management of fashion week schedules and ticket requests
    • finances including petty cash
    • contributor liaison and management
    • acting as a vital communication channels within the busy team

    A successful candidate will have:

    • the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage multiple projects and timelines
    • strong written and verbal communication skills
    • have a common sense approach to problem solving and be solution-oriented

    Interns are responsible for administrative support, research and some writing as well as answering phones, looking after visitors and a wide range of 'running' tasks one would expect in any busy studio.

    Ideally, interns work full time for a period of 6 – 12 weeks, although part time positions will be considered. SHOWstudio can cover lunch and travel costs (within central London).
