Jowy Maasdamme is a self-taught illustrator behind the blog ISEEJANEMARY. She originally studied law but soon followed her passion for illustration, using it as her means of self expression. 

With the use of simple raw materials such as ink and pencil, she illustrates using strong lines to communicate aesthetics that are both feminine and dark. Maasdamme illustrations focus on high fashion and the human body and often emphasizes transformation, fragility and fantasy in her works.
