Consisting of singer and frontwoman Elly Jackson and producer and partner Ben Langmaid, La Roux is a musical duo from England. Known for a synth-based electropop style that references the genre's 1980s pioneers, La Roux achieved widespread success with dubstep reworkings of their second single In For The Kill by both Skream and Skrillex widely popular on the UK club scene. La Roux's third single Bulletproof reached number one in the UK singles charts and the album from which is was taken -also titled La Roux- won the Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2011.
