Lyst, the global shopping app and fashion tech company, releases reports across the year detailing how brands are resonating with consumers. The Lyst Index Q2 2023 reveals that Loewe, the Spanish luxury label designed by Jonathan Anderson, has reached peak cult status.

With searches on Lyst up by 19% in the second quarter of 2023, Loewe's knack for sell-out accessories focused on elevated craft, TikTok-friendly runway moments, and an eclectic front row complete with the likes of Timothée Chalamet, Chloë Sevigny and actors from the hottest shows like Euphoria, Succession and The White Lotus, is paying off. The brand's creative director, Jonathan Anderson, is on a roll, with his namsake label having entered Lyst's Top 20 for the first time earlier this year with their viral Wellipet shoes.

Key Loewe products include the Anagram tank top, raffia tote bag and basket bag, the latter of which has amassed an online following for YouTube and TikTok 'unboxing' videos as online creators unpackage and review their purchases for an audience that seems to only be demanding more of what Loewe has to offer.

Loewe puts a unique spin on hero, everyday products like the tank top and basket bag, launches sell-out collaborations with everyone from Studio Ghibli to Wellipets, and makes an online impact through elevated runway pieces like their S/S 23 womenswear show which included trompe l'oeil pixelated outfits. Elevated everyday luxury is on the rise, going hand-in-hand with the trend for quiet luxury, as seen with the popularity of the Alaïa mesh flat ballet pumps, The Row's Ginza flip-flops and rising searches for the classic Italian brand Loro Piana.
