Living between America and his native Italy, creative director and filmmaker Ivan Olita moves between the worlds of art and fashion by documenting cultural highlights of his travels for publications including W, V and Rolling Stone. After years working as a model, Olita founded his own creative agency and production company, BRAVÒ, collaborating with artists such as Francesco Vezzoli and Paola Pivi and producing short documentaries on personalities such as James Goldstein.
He is also a creative consultant for several fashion companies such as Farfetch, and has worked with personalities ranging from Depeche Mode and Ben Harper to Katy Perry, Karl Lagerfeld and Miley Cyrus.
His 2020 short film, The Last Singer, premiered on Nowness and tells the story of one man’s fight to maintain a dying tradition in the ancient marshlands of Iraq.
