Laitinen

Fashion Designer

Laitinen was a creative fashion partnership between Finnish brother and sister Tuomas and Anna Laitinen. After graduating from the MA Fashion Design Course at Central Saint Martins in 2004, Tuomas worked as a freelance designer and fashion editor, while Anna worked in fine arts. They joined their efforts in 2006 to create their first fashion collection which won the special mention award at that year's Hyères Festival. The award was strongly supported by the festival’s guest judge Ann Demeulemeester. This enabled the duo to collaborate with Italian mill Puntoseta and launch their label Laitinen for A/W 07.
