Founded in 2000 by Joerg Koch and Sandra von Mayer-Myrtenhain, 032c began as an English-language, contemporary culture magazine published twice a year. Covering art, fashion and politics, the magazine became known for its in-depth research dossiers on designers and artists such as Rei Kawakubo, Pablo Picasso, Azzedine Alaia, Nicolas Ghesquiere, William T Vollamann, and Werner Herzog.

032c Apparel is creative directed by Maria Koch. Their workshop in Berlin is a production and research centre, assessing and contributing to contemporary culture. Their findings are published digitally and as a collectible manual for freedom, research, and creativity, printed twice annually.
