Alexandra Levasseur

Canadian illustrator Alexandra Levasseur studied fine arts and graphic design at university in Costa Rica, before moving to Barcelona to begin a postgraduate degree in creative illustration and visual communication. Working in pencil, Levasseur draws upon the ever-changing spectrum of human emotions to produce surreal and vivid illustrations, in which figures often appear with multiple faces, or in the process of movement or transformation. 

Her work has been displayed in Barcelona's Picasso Museum in 2009, as well as in the exhibition The Glamour of Italian Fashion at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 2014. Her illustrations have also featured extensively in Juxtapoz magazine.
