Arnar Már Jónsson is a London-based Icelandic designer who completed his MA in menswear at the Royal College of Art in 2017.
Jónsson's work is based on the idea of recreating a modern wardrobe for the people in his surroundings. Coming from Iceland’s sub-optimal climates, Jónsson's use of innovative fabrics forms a big part of his work. Jónsson merges sports and active-wear design elements as a base for his design and construction. Jónsson is strongly inspired by the cultural and climatic transition between different locations, in this case, his native Iceland and London.
