Chloé

Fashion Designer

Chloé is a luxury French fashion house founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion. Aghion's focus on wearable yet beautiful ready-to-wear found fervour among the young women of Paris. In the 1970s, Chloé's bohemian, feminine details made the label a favourite for icons such as Grace Kelly, Brigitte Bardot, and Jackie O Kennedy.

The brand has had several designers in the years since including Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Clare Waight Keller. In 2017, it was announced Claire Waight Keller was exiting her position as creative director. She was replaced by Natacha Ramsay-Levi, previously design director under Nicolas Ghesquière at Louis Vuitton. Gabriela Hearst took the reigns of the brand in 2020 followed by a three-year stint as creative director. In 2023, Hearst announced her resignation from the brand. She was replaced by Chemena Kamali.
