Francesca Burns

Fashion Editor

Francesca Burns is a fashion editor and stylist living and working in London. Originally a law student, she was encouraged to defect to London College of Fashion by her history course director, where she went on to study fashion promotion. From there, Burns assisted William Baker on Kylie Minogue's Fever world tour. She freelanced for two years, assisting leading fashion stylists including Joe McKenna and Jonathan Kaye, shooting for a variety of international publications including W, Italian Vogue, Pop, Arena Homme + and many of the Vogue titles. Burns has served as fashion editor at i-D magazine, senior fashion editor-at-large for LOVE magazine, and since September 2011 has been fashion editor at British Vogue.

In 2017, she launched PRINT, an independent publication, in collaboration with creative director Christopher Simmonds.
