Gerald Jenkins is a photographer. As well as commercial work in fashion, beauty and portraiture, Jenkins has sold work and exhibited internationally. His editorial credits include work for Vanity Fair, US Esquire and several international Vogue titles. His list of advertising clients includes, amongst others, Stüssy, Siemens and Schwartzkopf.

In February 2004 the Adelaide Festival in Australia held a major exhibition of his images of contemporary Aboriginal culture and Australian landscapes. He has taken many backstage rock portraits, spanning 10 years, including the likes of Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue, John Spencer, Gil Scott-Heron and Lee 'Scratch' Perry.

In 2019, Jenkins published a book called It's After The End of the World, featuring contributions from Sun Ra and Darius James.
