Jonny Woo

Performance Artist

Jonny Woo is a British performance artist and one of London’s leading figures in cabaret and alternative variety. Woo has created large scale shows and solo work since 2003 with residencies at The Soho Theatre and ICA and commissions for one off events with The National Theatre and The Royal Opera House. His pub The Glory became the focal point of London’s queer cultural underground, with Woo later creating an arthouse gender-queer lockdown series Glory TV for the LGBTQ+ venue in East London. Other work incorporates spoken word and storytelling, usually with Woo decked out in his finest drag regalia for which he is best known.
