Kosmetique Label was a fashion brand created by Japanese-born fashion designer Kanya Miki. Miki graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, going on to work as an assistant designer for Walter van Bierendonck in 2003 and John Galliano in 2004. Miki debuted his own design line Kosmetique Label in Paris in 2005. The name of the label was chosen because of its association with cosmetics, which enhance the face whilst Miki aims to enhance the figure through his designs. Based in Paris, Kosmetique Label created unisex clothes, which Miki claims expresses his own style which fits both men and women, altering the sizes of identical designs for each sex.
Following the closure of Kosmetique Label, Kanya Miki has moved on to create his Ekam range of leather jackets in Japan.
