Max Lamb

Designer

Max Lamb is a furniture designer.

Having graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Three Dimensional Design, Lamb was awarded both the Hettich International Design Award and the Peter Walker Award for Innovation in Furniture Design in 2003. In 2006, he completed his Master's Degree in Design Products at the Royal College of Art. After a year designing for Tom Dixon Studio, he established his own practice in 2007 and began teaching at ECAL in Switzerland. Lamb collaborated with Virgil Abloh and Sami Janjer at CIFF 2018.

Lamb is known for creating beautifully crafted pieces with materials and traditional processes at their core. The rural landscape of his upbringing in Cornwall, England, is the source for Lamb's deep appreciation for natural materials.
