Rad Hourani

Fashion Designer

Rad Hourani is a fashion designer and film director based in New York. Canadian-born, Hourani worked as an art director and model scout before moving to Paris, where he pursued photography, film and styling. He showed his first unisex gender neutral ready-to-wear collection for Spring/Summer 08 in Paris, and has since shown in New York.

In 2009, Hourani presented his first photography and video exhibition at the Jardins du Palais-Royal in Paris, and has since exhibited internationally at institutions such as Tate Modern (London), FIT Museum (New York), MU Art Center (Netherlands) and The Herning Museum of Contemporary Art (Denmark).

He was the first designer to present a unisex haute couture collection after being invited to become a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in 2013.
